Minimum data, maximum control
We collect only what the product needs to work - your account, your recordings and your settings. No contact lists, no location tracking, no behavioural profiling.

Deletion means deletion
When you delete a conversation, it is removed from the device, the app and the cloud. Not archived, not anonymised for later - gone.
What we collect - and why.
Account details
Name, email and password when you create an account. Used to sign you in and keep your data tied to you - and nothing else.
Recordings & transcripts
The audio you choose to sync, plus the transcripts, summaries and action items the app creates from it. End-to-end encrypted under your account.
Order & shipping details
When you buy a Note, we process your address and payment to deliver it. Payment details are handled by our payment provider - we never see your full card number.
Product usage basics
Anonymous, aggregated signals like app crashes and feature usage, so we can fix what breaks. Never tied to the content of your conversations.
What we never do
- We never sell or rent your data to anyone
- We never train AI models on your conversations
- We never read your transcripts - support only accesses data you explicitly share
- We never keep recordings you have deleted
- We never track you across other apps or websites

Every right below is a feature, not a form. Most of them live directly in the Note app - and for anything else, one email is enough.
Access
See everything we hold about you, from the app or by asking us.
Export
Download your recordings, transcripts and summaries in open formats at any time.
Correction
Fix any detail that is wrong - your account, your transcripts, your settings.
Deletion
Erase a single conversation or your entire account. Deletion is immediate and complete.
Objection
Object to any processing you are not comfortable with, and we will stop it.
Complaint
You can always complain to your local data protection authority. We would rather you talk to us first.

Legal basis
Contract (delivering the product you bought), consent (optional features), and legitimate interest (keeping the service secure).
Retention
Your data lives until you delete it or close your account. Backups roll off within 30 days. Enterprise customers set their own retention windows.
Sub-processors
A short list of vetted infrastructure providers, all under GDPR-compliant agreements and EU/EEA or adequacy-based processing. Full list available on request.
International transfers
Data stays in the EU/EEA by default. Any transfer outside is covered by standard contractual clauses.
Children
Note is a professional tool and is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will tell you in the app and by email before it takes effect.
